Craft celebrates Let Glasgow Flourish Awards

25 February 2025

The Incorporation was delighted to welcome award winners from across Glasgow to the annual Let Glasgow Flourish Awards, held in Trades Hall on Tuesday 25 February 2025. The Awards recognise the floral and horticultural displays of businesses and non-profit organisations across the city, with this round of awards being presented for efforts during the 2024 summer season.

The winner of the Robertson Silver Spade, the top prize awarded, was Amore Ristorante e Pizzeria on Ingram Street, whose red, white and green display (representing the colours of the Italian flag) impressed the judges with its well-maintained vibrancy.

Gold awards went to Meze Meze, The Corinthian Club, The Citizen, La Vita, Gamba and Mharsanta, who all maintained impressive horticultural displays during the summer season, helping to make Glasgow look at its best.

The Incorporation was delighted to have the support of The Right Hon. Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren, who joined us as guest of honour and presented the prizes. Many thanks also go to Deacon Convener Richard Paterson OBE and Deacon Stephen Docherty for their involvement in the presentation.
