Deacon attends Mansion House banquet

The Deacon and Deacon's Laddie were delighted to attend the annual Mansion House Banquet of The Worshipful Company of Gardeners, as guests of their Master, Nicholas Woolf OBE. Held in the spectacular Egyptian Hall of The Mansion House on 9 February 2024, the top table guests included the Right Honourable Theresa May MP and Lord Mayor of London, Alderman Michael Mainelli, who was seated next to the Deacon.
The Company of Pikemen and Musketeers of the Honourable Artillery Company provided a carpet guard, bringing an impressive display of pageantry to the event.
The Clerk was also privileged to attend as a guest of the Clerk of the Worshipful Company.
