Evening with the Gardeners 2024

Deacon Janet Pierotti enjoyed welcoming members of her Chain Gang, members of the Gardeners and other guests to her "Evening with the Gardeners" held in Trades Hall. Guest speakers John Burton, Dr Heather Barrett-Mold OBE and Dr Konstantinos Tsiolis gave great insight into the work carried out by Pollinating London, which the Master Court hope to take inspiration from as they develop their strategy for the future. 

Following a delicious buffet, including refreshments provided by brewmeister Dr Adrian Pierotti, the gathering reconvened to admit new member (Allan Lapsley), present a gift to former Clerk (David Dickson) and former Officer (Susan Dickson) in recognition of their time in office and to carry out the box opening ceremony. Once the Incorporation's charter chest was expertly opened by Master Dickson and Master Wallace, the Deacon placed into the chest an ornamental silver spade received from Master Nicholas Woolf of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners of London and details of the recent UK election results.
